Peter J. Ingrassia, Ocala, Fl went home to the loving arms of his parents Peter and Anna Ingrassia, brothers George, Jimmy and sister Carol. He is survived by brothers Bill, Larry, Tom and sister Marjorie.

Proud father of Jennifer (Jeffery) Smith, Gina Perez, Jill (Reggie) Green and Melissa (Kadrin) Bethel.

Pete’s greatest love was being “Papa” to Brianna, Kayla, Asia, Jocelyne, Desiree, Olivia, Amelia, Reggie Jr., Kaleah, Cecily, Sophyia, Kaydin, Kaycin, Gia, Damien, Dakota, Christian, Karsyn, Cassian, Harper, Nariah and Hayden.

Pete was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He was a Navy Veteran where he was trained as a diesel engine mechanic, and he continued to work as a mechanic until retiring.

Pete loved to fish and garden and played many musical instruments including the guitar, banjo, piano and for many years he could be found at the helm of the electric organ. He was always down for a good prime rib and his search for a traditional Italian soppressata continues on.

His great conversation and interesting antics will be greatly missed and remembered with a fun story to tell, for years to come.

The family would like to express appreciation to all of the caretakers who attended to Pete through the years, especially Zetta.

A celebration of Pete’s life will be held at a later date.
