Sandra L. Andrews
Jul 14, 1943 — Mar 28, 2026
Sandra Lee Barton Andrews, lovingly known as Sandy, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, in Ocala, Florida, at the age of 82.
Sandy was born on July 14, 1943, in Lodi, Ohio, to Bob Barton and Emma Barton. She was raised in Fellowship, Florida. She graduated from Ocala High School and attended Central Florida Community College. Sandy later moved to Ocala, Florida where she built a life grounded in steadfast devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Suzi Kingsberry and Debi Barton and brothers Billy Barton, and Bobby Barton. Sandy is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Richard Andrews; her children Earnie Frederick (Yesie), Dana (Steve) Jeppesen, Dan (Sand i) Andrews, and Dick (Garnet) Andrews; her siblings Cindy Battle, Sheri Barton, and Tim Barton; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she loved deeply.
Sandy lived her life with strength, conviction, and unwavering commitment to what mattered most. She poured herself into her roles as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, setting a standard of love and dedication that will endure for generations.
She was strong-willed and attentive to every detail, believing that even the smallest things mattered. Whether helping with the family’s business affairs with her gift for bookkeeping or thoughtfully planning family gatherings, she approached life with purpose and intention. She understood that time is fleeting and that family is a gift to be cherished.
Her home reflected her heart—orderly, welcoming, and filled with care. Sandy expressed her love not just in words, but in consistent acts of service. She cared deeply, worked diligently, and loved completely.
Sandy’s life was a reflection of service in action. She remained steadfast to her loved ones through life’s seasons, caring for her family, and living with quiet strength. Like the words of Scripture, she truly fought the good fight, finished her race, and kept the faith.
A celebration of Sandy’s life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home located at 910 East Silver Springs Boulevard, Ocala, Florida 34471.
