Susan Lynn Bensch

Susan Lynn Bensch, 60, of Ocala, FL, began her Heavenly journey on October 18, 2026. Susan was born in Leesburg, FL, on June 27, 1966, to her loving parents, Larry and Patty (Hamilton) Hopper.

Susan was a true Florida native and a child of God. She worked in public relations and utilized her creative writing talents. Susan enjoyed spending her time outdoors; she was truly fascinated by nature and loved animals. She also loved to dance and roller skate.

Susan was a compassionate and loving woman; she always noticed when someone needed a hand and would gladly lend hers to help. Above all, her kind empathetic soul left a lasting impact on her community and her dear family.

Susan is survived by the love of her life for the last 31 years, her dearest companion, Utz Bensch, her mother, Patty Hopper, brother Richard Hopper, many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and two precious cats: Buddy and Penelope.

Susan is preceded in passing by her father, Larry Hopper.
