Terry Lee Dukes

Terry Lee Dukes, 73, of Salt Springs, FL, began his Heavenly journey on September 17, 2026, surrounded by his family. Terry was born on March 19, 1953, in Lakeland, FL, to his loving parents, Leon and Clara (Hutchinson) Dukes.

Terry was a true Florida native, a Christian and a huge Florida Gators fan. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing. He was also a tradesman who had a do-it-yourself mentality and took pride in his ability to overcome a challenge. He was known for being a man that could build or fix just about anything.

Terry worked for GTE/Verizon for 30 years as a supervisor. Following his retirement, he became an at-home mechanic and often helped his community with small engine repairs out of his garage.

Terry loved his wife, his two sons, and his family. He was a well-rounded man who was often a pillar for those around him to lean on. He will be missed dearly by not only his beloved family, but his friends and his community.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of almost 39 years, Deborah, his mother, Clara Clark, his sons and their wives; Brent (Desireé) and Heath (Desireé) as well as grandchildren; Alexis, Alyssa, Madyson and Sarah, and a brother, Gary Dukes.

Terry is preceded in passing by his father, Leon Dukes.
