William Lee Sellers, 83, of Ocala, FL, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026.

William was born in Quitman, GA, on March 3, 1943. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army for six years, serving as a machine gunner on a helicopter in Vietnam. Following his time in the Army, Bill began a career with the United States Navy, where he worked as an electrician and eventually retired from the USS Saratoga as a Master-at-Arms in March of 1987.

Just about two months prior to his retirement, Bill married the love of his life, Montrey. He then began his 19-year career as a truck driver for E1.

Bill enjoyed spending his time riding his motorcycle, even taking trips across the country with Montrey as his co-pilot. Bill was a very intelligent man and also enjoyed building and learning about computers. He will be missed dearly by his precious family.

William is survived by his wife of 39 years, Montrey Sellers, his daughter, Katie Sellers, stepchildren, Tonya Ashment and Troy Byrd, as well as a granddaughter, Madisen Byrd.

Wiliam is preceded in passing by his parents, Harmon and Jewel.

A Graveside service with Military Honors is pending at this time.
