Willie Egene Riley

Feb 12, 1938 — Sep 19, 2026

On September 19, 2026, at 6:30 a.m., our beloved dad, Willie Riley, gained his wings at the age of 88.

Born in Parkin, Arkansas, Dad spent many years working on and managing Bonnie Heath Farm. He was a hardworking man who found great joy in the land, the animals, and the life he built there. He also had a passion for Thoroughbred horses, breeding and racing horses of his own.

We were so blessed to grow up on the farm and experience the many adventures and special memories that came with it. Dad had a deep love for animals and cared for them with all his heart. Over the years, our home became a haven for orphaned raccoons, squirrels, skunks, opossums, monkeys, and, of course, our beloved dogs and barn cats. His compassion for animals was a beautiful reflection of the kind of man he was.

Dad also had a beautiful singing voice and loved playing his guitar. Some of our most treasured memories are of sitting around a campfire, listening to him play and sing the old country songs he loved. Those moments, filled with music, laughter, and family, will remain in our hearts forever.

Dad was preceded in death by our mom, Sue, their infant son, Rocky, and many of his brothers.

Dad leaves behind his three children, Roxie Inkell (Danny), Chris, and Sherri Bryson (Mike); six grandchildren, Brook, Erin, Amanda, Marsha, Cody, and Jessica; and seven great-grandchildren, Riley, Addie Grace, Kylie, Kaitlyn, Maddix, Mason, and Bentley. His family was one of his greatest legacies, and the love he gave them will continue through every generation.

Though our hearts are heavy with the loss of a beloved father, we find comfort in knowing that Dad is at peace and reunited with those he loved. And we can only imagine that beautiful voice we cherished so much is now joining the angels' chorus.

Rest peacefully, Dad. Your love, your music, your stories, and the memories you gave us will live in our hearts forever. We will miss you more than words can say, but we are grateful for every moment we were blessed to have you.
