Diana Wells

Diana Wells, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, mentor, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on September 5, 2026, at the age of 61. She was born on March 31, 1965.

Diana was the loving wife of David Wells for 37 years and a devoted mother to Amber Despain (Alex) and Dr. Dylan Wells (Brooke). She was a proud grandmother to Bralyn, Camryn, and Carsyn. She is also survived by her parents, Don and Donna Simpson, and her sister, Debie Hoyng (Keith). Her love extended beyond her immediate family to the many honorary children whom she loved, supported, and mentored throughout the years.

A graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Diana enjoyed a successful career as a computer systems engineer with several national companies. She was intelligent, caring, and generous, with a heart for helping others.

Diana loved games, golfing, baking, and most of all, spending time with the people she loved. Her kindness, wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 12, 2026, from 2:30–5:30 p.m. at Tierra Del Sol. Family and friends are welcome to gather, remember Diana, and celebrate the beautiful life she shared with so many.
