Don T. Barry

Donald Barry, 79, of The Villages, passed away on August 20th, 2026 in PalmCoast.

Donald was born Brooklyn to Edna and Elmer Barry on October 17, 1946. He went to school at Ronkonkoma New York. He graduated from Suffolk Community College. He married Linda Sorrentino on October 31st, 1970 in Lake Ronkonkoma.

He worked as a retail manager for Modells and Lechters; as well as a sales associate at Lowe’s for many years. He was a veteran of the US army. He was involved in the local softball league as a player and manager. He received the 2025 Hall of Fame Recreational Division 4 League award. He enjoyed softball, cruising, quality time with friends and family, history documentaries, and playing with his dogs.

Donald is preceded in death by Linda Barry. Donald is survived by his daughter Nicole Barry and his granddaughters Alexis Musselman, Toni Musselman, and Brittany Musselman.

Funeral services will be held 12-2pm Friday September 4th, 2026 at Hiers-Baxley 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL 32162. Arrangements are by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services.
