Elaine Ann Zink

Elaine Ann Zink, 74, of The Villages, passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2026. Elaine married Barry Zink in 1977, raised their family in Michigan, and worked together for over 40 years.

Elaine had an adventurous spirit and a love of life. Whether climbing mountains, drag racing, or jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, she was always ready for a new adventure. She loved traveling, The Villages, and being Grandma “Jo-Jo.”

Elaine is survived by her sons, Kurt (Daile) Zink and Eric Zink (fiancée Candace Cook); and granddaughters Riley, Cora, Sadie, and Libby Jo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barry; parents and in-laws; and good friend Bob Buchanan.

A “Life Party” will be Friday, October 2, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at the Savannah Center. Elaine will be laid to rest alongside Barry at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
