Helen M. Mcmichael

Helen Berge McMichael, 97 formerly of Bellview, FL and Red Hook, NY, passed away on September 23, 2025, in Bellevue, WA.

  Helen was born in Brooklyn, NY to Otto and Helen Berge on July 14,1928. She went to Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, NY. She graduated from Sister Elizabeth Nursing School in 1948 in Brooklyn, NY. She married Joseph McMichael in 1968 in Hyde Park, NY. She worked at a registered nurse for the State of NY for over 20 years. She was involved in the Sons of Norway; she was a member of the Baptist church. She enjoyed golfing and playing the organ at church.   Helen is preceded in death by her husband Joseph, and sister Doris Monroe.   Helen is survived by her son Robert Irons, daughter Holly Davis, granddaughters Melissa Irons and Rachel Irons Luebbert, and great granddaughter, Melora.   Funeral services will be held at Hiers-Baxley 3975 Wedgewood Ln. The Villages, Fl 32162 from 9:30am-11:30am followed by burial at Florida National Cemetery 6502 SW 102 Ave. Bushnell, Fl 33513. Arrangements are made by Hiers-Baxley funeral home.
