Louise Lee

Louise Lee, passed peacefully the 2nd week of April 2026. Born and raised in South Carolina, she graduated from South Carolina State University and fulfilled her calling by nurturing the minds of countless elementary school children until her retirement. She shared a life of devotion and companionship with her husband Robert and was a guiding presence to her children: Wendell (Francoise), Kelvin (Sheri), and Rosalyn (Melvern); and her grandchildren: Kai, Sahwae, and Savannah. Louise moved through the world with quiet grace and a ready smile. She found meaning not in grand gestures, but in everyday acts of care, patience, and love. She was a devoted lifelong friend to many and readily welcomed new friendships and experiences. She loved her neighbors and cherished playing and praying with them. Louise’s absence will be felt, but so too will her presence -- in familiar places, shared stories, and the love that lives on in the lives she leaves behind
