Nancy Dawn Perri

Nancy D. Perri, 80, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 16, 1946, in Waltham, Massachusetts, Nancy was the youngest of three daughters of George W. and Barbara J. Douglas. She was raised in Waltham, attended local schools, and graduated from Waltham High School. On January 15, 1964, she married the love of her life, James V. Perri, in Waltham, Massachusetts. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, family, and countless memories over their 41 years of marriage. They purchased their first home in Somerville, MA and after a few years relocated to Hanover on the South Shore, until they retired to The Villages, FL in November 2004.Over the years Nancy worked in many jobs from being a Food Buyer at Food Enterprises in Canton, to selling real estate on the South Shore and finally retiring as a Data Entry Clerk in the Medical Policy Department for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Nancy lived life with a spirited and adventurous heart. She loved riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycle and embraced the freedom and excitement of the open road. Whether she was cruising through New England, riding with the Blue Knights Chapter XIII down to Manassas, VA or a ride around town, those moments brought her great joy and reflected her independence and fearless nature. Nancy was a gamer! Loved to play Bingo, Bunco, and Pokeno at any chance she could with her friends and family. She was always challenging someone to a game of something when visitingwith her.She also found happiness in the simple beauty of the world around her. Nancy loved spendingtime outdoors in her vegetable garden, watching birds and wildlife, and appreciating nature. Shecould often be found sitting outside reading a book, enjoying the sights and sounds of the naturalworld, and finding peace in the beauty that surrounded her.Above all else, Nancy cherished her family. She loved gathering with those she held dear,sharing stories, laughter, and traditions that created lasting memories. Her greatest pride waswatching her family grow through the generations. She delighted in her role as mother,grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her love for her family was evident in everything shedid.Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James V. Perri; her son, Timothy J. Perri;her parents, George W. and Barbara J. Douglas; and her sister, L. June Lord.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn M. and Christopher J. Stevens; her sister,Barbara Lee Carmel; her grandson, CJ Stevens and his wife, Brieanne, and their children, Elianaand John; her granddaughter, Ashley O'Doherty and her husband, Jason, and their daughter,Addison; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and several belovedgrand-puppies.

Nancy will be remembered for her strength, adventurous spirit, loving heart, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her legacy lives on in the memories she created the love she shared, and the generations of family who will forever carry her spirit with them. A Celebration of Life will be held in August 2026 in Hanover, Massachusetts. Burial will follow at Hanover Cemetery.
