Nancy Jean Van Luven

Nancy Jean Van Luven, age 88, of The Villages, FL was welcomed into Jesus' arms on September 27, 2026.

Nancy was born in Wadsworth, OH to Kenneth and Bertha (Bea) Hartman.

Nancy lived in The Villages, FL with her beloved husband, of 66 years, Gary A. Van Luven. She is survived by her daughters: Cheryl Kuhn of GA, Beverly Porter (husband John) of MO, and Donna MacLeish, (husband Ken) of GA.

She was a proud Grandmother to her 9 Grandchildren: Tiffany, Nathan, Iain, Brandon, Gwendolyn, Danielle, Brittany, Jordan, and Blake.

She was a devoted Great-Grandmother to her 9 Great-Grandchildren: Jon, Autumn, Rylann, Summer, Tenlee, Emery, Brooks, Hudson, and Beckham.

Nancy volunteered the last 22 years at Oxford AOG Church assisting with bookkeeping. She enjoyed golf, cruises, reading, puzzles, mah-jongg, music, playing the piano, taking walks, and playing endless hours of games with family and friends.

Nancy was a very selfless, generous, and unwavering friend and Child of God. She has touched the lives of everyone who crossed her path. She was a very private lady who carried a quiet spirit and strength. She was a beacon of light for her family and friends.

While Nancy will be deeply missed, those who loved her can find comfort in her faith and in the assurance that she is now at peace, free from suffering, and safely home with her Lord. Nancy Jean Van Luven definitely leaves a legacy of love and compassion.
