Priscilla Jean Moulds

Dec 24, 1932 — Oct 28, 2026

Priscilla Jean Moulds, 93, of The Villages, FL, began her Heavenly journey on October 28, 2026. Priscilla was born on December 24, 1932, in Weirton, WV, to her loving mother, Cora Hillman.

Priscilla and her high school sweetheart, John Moulds, graduated together in 1950 and on June 13, 1953, the two married and began their beautiful life together. Priscilla worked as a bank teller while John went to college and eventually, they started a family. Pricilla was a devoted mother, a woman of God and a pillar to her family.

She was a kind, warm, and welcoming mother to her children, and she gave the best hugs. Priscilla was a musically gifted and artistic person as well. She taught herself how to play piano by ear (which she learned from her mother who played the church organ while Priscilla was growing up) and she had a knack for interior design. Priscilla made her house a home with her decorating skills while also sewing articles of clothing for herself and her children.

Priscilla was a member of the Philanthropic Education Organization; she taught Sunday School and Christian Bible study. After her children left home, she became a bookkeeper for a local accountant. Priscilla always seemed to have community involvement despite her and her husband relocating from West Virginia, to New York, Alabama, Michigan and North Carolina over the years.

By November of 2009, John and Priscilla settled in The Villages, FL. They became members of New Covenant Methodist Church. Priscilla sang in the choir and enjoyed attending bible study. Priscilla also enjoyed dancing, gardening, hosting dinner parties and crafting.

Priscilla leaves behind a legacy for generations to come of kindness, love and strength. She will be missed dearly by her loving family, friends and church community.

Priscilla is survived by her husband of 73 years, John W. Moulds, her children and their spouses; William (Kimberly), Nancy (Kevin) and Kathleen (Stephen), as well as nine grandchildren, fifteen precious great grandchildren and a niece, Coralee Powell.

Priscilla is preceded in passing by her mother, Cora Hillman, a sister who passed at 18 years old, Blanche Hillman, and a sister, Shirley Rody.
