Sheri D. Morin

Sheri Morin, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 81 in Gainesville, FL. Sheri will be remembered for her kindness, laughter, creativity and dedication to her family and friends. She lived her life with the motto of Live, Love, Laugh.

Sheri was born in Exeter, New Hampshire on March 24, 1945, to Jeanette and George Eaton. She graduated from Largo High School. While working nights as a waitress, she earned her Registered Nursing degree from St. Petersburg Junior College in St. Petersburg, FL. She was married to Ronald C. Morin on November 16th, 1963, in Largo, FL. She was a Registered Nurse and worked for over 25 years in Critical Care units in New Port Richie and Bayonet Point, FL.

She moved to the Villages FL in 2005 and was involved in many activities including the First Wives Club, Red Hat Society and the Poetry Club. After moving to the Villages, she loved to golf, play cards and spend time with her many friends. Earlier in her life she enjoyed everything outdoors including hiking, camping, water skiing and spending time at the beach and in the mountains around Fontana Lake in North Carolina.

She was proceeded in death by her father George Eaton, her mother Jeanette Maynard and her brother Kenneth Eaton.

Sheri is survived by her husband of 62 years Ronald C. Morin, her sons Shawn Morin (wife Nancy) and Eric Morin (wife Kim) and her granddaughter Kelly Johnson (husband Stephen).

Memorial services will be held from noon until 2:00pm on Wednesday August 26th at Hiers-Baxley 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL 32162.
