Gail S. Olson
Jan 9, 1949 — Sep 19, 2020
Gail was admitted to Good Samaritan ICU August 9th, 2020. She remained in ICU throughout her entire stay until her passing on Sept. 19th, 2020. She was diagnosed with Covid and pneumonia. She was on a ventilator approximately four weeks. They preformed a tracheotomy on Sept. 18th, 2020.
Many people prayed for her, but in God’s infinite love and care, he spared her what may have been a long and difficult road of recovery and took her Home at about 6:15pm on Saturday Sept. 19th, 2020 at the age of seventy one years.
She gave her life to the Lord at the young age of twelve years and became a born again Christian. She testified many times over the years how the Lord changed her life.
She was united in marriage to Joseph Henry Olson in Saint Louis, Missouri on May 3rd, 1969. She served the Lord in the ministry with him from that time, right up to the time of her admittance into the hospital on August 9th.
Words really fail to tell of all her many acts of love and caring for others. Though she has left the earthly stage of her amazing life and faithfulness to her precious Savior, she will continue to inspire and speak to the hearts and lives of many.
She was born January 9th, 1949 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Dale and Rosiland Gant. She grew up in Missouri and Michigan. She graduated from New Testament Christian College in Saint Louis in 1975 (currently known as New Testament Christian Seminary, located in Graham, WA).
She is survived by her husband: Joseph Olson of Graham, WA; her daughter: Regina (Danny) Brill of Graham,WA; her granddaughter: Alyvia Brill of Graham, WA; her brother: Michael (June) Halm; her sisters: Diana (William) Elliot, Sue (Roger) Tidwell, Cindy (David) Parsons, Robert (Mariage) Gibbs and Faye Polkinghorne; along with an extended family, friends and so many who loved her dearly.
