Joey L. Deese

Joey L. Deese, born November 12, 1958, passed away on August 17, 2026, at the age of 67.

Joey served his country in the United States Army, a commitment that reflected duty and dedication. He also spent his working years as a truck driver in the transportation industry, a profession that called for perseverance, strength, and long hours on the road. His life was marked by service and hard work.

He was preceded in death by his father, Grady Deese; his mother, Marie Deese; his brothers, Don Deese and Allen Deese; and his sister, Gail Fears.

Joey is survived by his sisters, Tracy Williamson, Sharon Smith (O'Neal), and June Riley, as well as his friend, Lucienne Hastings. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and peace to those who loved him.

A graveside service will be held on September 1, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Auburndale Memorial Park, 1889 West Derby Avenue, Auburndale, Florida 33823.
