Larry Edwin Taylor

Mr. Larry Edwin Taylor, age 77, a resident of Auburndale, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland surrounded by family. Mr. Taylor was born February 13, 1949, in Beltsville, Maryland, to Bertram Earl and Helen Madeline (Andrews) Taylor. He was an Auburndale resident since 2020 coming from Plant City. Larry was a Salesman in the Automotive Industry and a United States Army Veteran serving during Vietnam. He enjoyed cars, model cars, sports (Redskins, Lightning & Rays), music, playing the keyboard and loved to spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter – Kayleigh Marie Morgan; 2 brothers – Joseph & Robert and 2 sisters – Mae & Joyce. Larry is survived by his loving & devoted family, 2 daughters – Eleni (Phil Webb) Sansone & Candice (Johnny) Rutherford; 1 son – Bryan (Stephanie) Taylor; 14 grandchildren – Jennifer (Dylan), Joseph, Emily (Reid), Austin (Sierra), Cody (Hailie), Savana (Rylan), Payton, Jaxon, Lucas, Leah (Aric), Kylie, Caylie, Alexis & Addison; 9 great grandchildren – Joseph, Dylan, Myla, Nehemiah, Ayiana, Emberlee, Ryker, Oakleigh & Everleigh. A memorial service with Military Honors will be held 4pm Friday, August 28th at Kersey Funeral Home.
