Loretta Elaine Richardson
August 18, 1945 – September 25, 2025
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Loretta Richardson, a cherished wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Loretta entered into eternal peace on September 25, 2025, at the age of 80. Born August 18, 1945, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Loretta was the daughter of Clifford and Catherine (Checchia) Kaminski. She graduated from St. Basil’s Academy and went on to create a life filled with love and dedication. She was united in marriage to her husband, Frank Richardson, with whom she shared 42 years before his passing. Loretta leaves behind a loving family who will forever miss her love and wisdom. She is survived by her son, Thomas and daughter-in-law Rochelle of St. Augustine, FL, and her son Kevin of Philadelphia, PA. She is additionally survived by her sister Maria Bachovin and brother-in-law Stephen of Philadelphia, PA, her sister Michele McDowell of Kissimmee, FL, and all her nieces and nephews. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Frank Richardson, and her grand-cat Gretta. Loretta dedicated her life to creating a loving home for her family. She will be remembered as a person who had the gift of making people feel seen, loved, and included. Loretta brought joy to all who knew her; especially her extended Arizona and Florida family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations to Hope 4 Veterans at 224 Palazzo Circle, St. Augustine, FL 32092, or hope4veterans.org. The family also wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to George C. Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale, FL, for the exceptional kindness and care shown to Loretta in her final days. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
