Mrs. Myrna June Pennington, age 83, a resident of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026, while visiting her daughter in Auburndale. Mrs. Pennington was born October 13, 1942, in Charleston, West Virginia to Ernest Milton and Gladys Ellen (Adams) Ferrell. She retired from Owens Illinois Glass in Lakeland and was also a Homemaker. Myrna enjoyed fishing, gardening, yellow tulips, working in the yard and especially loved to spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – James Paul Pennington; son – Robert Glen Sutherland and 2 brothers – Kenneth Ferrell & Ernest M. Ferrell, Jr. Myrna is survived by her loving family, 2 daughters – Brenda Lea Orr of Auburndale, Florida and Babara Lynn Iams of Charleston, West Virginia; son – Stephen Paul Pennington of Charleston, West Virginia; brother – Paul Allen Ferrell of Zephyrhills, Florida; 2 sisters – Kathie M. Parker of Richmond, Virginia and Donna Kay (Paul) Schaffer of Richmond, Virginia; 8 grandchildren – Robert Glen Sutherland, Jr., Aubry (Jordan) Walsh, Joshua Robert (Alexus) Fox, James Donald (Samantha) Fox, Kayla Pennington, Morgan Pennington, Brianna Pennington and Lacy Pennington; 7 great grandchildren – Brennan, Blake, Lucy, Ethan, Riley, Jason and Ellie. A celebration of Myrna’s life will be held Saturday, July 25th in Charleston, West Virginia.
