Sarah La Nelle Hobby

 Ms. Sarah Lanelle Hobby, age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at her granddaughter’s home surrounded by family. Ms. Hobby was born August 6, 1943, in Winter Haven, Florida to Leavie Ophelia and Ethel Pauline (Walker) Allen. Lanelle was a resident of Saint Augustine for the past 3 years coming from Jacksonville & Winter Haven. She graduated from Winter Haven High School, a homemaker, a retired cosmetologist and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister – Gwendolyn Allen and grandson in law – Felix Beltran. Lanelle is survived by her loving family, son – Anthony (Shauna) Hobby; 2 daughters – Tanya Hobby & Tyla (Brent) Dyer; 5 grandchildren – Amanda (Kyle) Bence, Tiffany Beltran, Ashley (Auston) Lacey, Owen Dyer & Hayes Dyer; 6 great grandchildren – Levi, Emilio, Kehven, Adelynn, Jetson & Nolan. Graveside will be 11am Saturday, May 2nd at Auburndale Memorial Park.
