Stanley Jones, Jr.

Mr. Stanley Jones, Jr., age 77, a resident of Eagle Lake, Florida, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, surrounded by his family. Mr. Jones was born September 21, 1948, in Stony Point, New York, to Stanley and Barbara Jean (Basley) Jones, Sr. He was a Polk County resident since 1975, coming from New York. Stanley was a retired long-distance truck driver and mechanic for 55 years and a United States Marine veteran. He enjoyed watching TV and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his second wife, Regina; and his brother, Frederick. Stanley is survived by his loving family: son, Joseph (Jeanne) Jones; three daughters, Jennifer (Samuel) McLeod, Sandra (Jose) Jones, and Joy Jones; two sisters, Cheryl (Joseph) Tripp and Barbara Fox; three grandchildren, Connor, Justin, and Cheyenne; five great-grandchildren, Jack, Reid, James, Cande, and Riley; and the mother ( Nadine Calkins ) of his two children, Joseph Jones and Jennifer McLeod, . There are no services scheduled for Mr. Jones, Jr., at this time.
