Stephanie Marie Sunshine

Stephanie Marie Sunshine, 45, of Seattle, Washington, passed away on October 7, 2026.

The oldest of four children, Stephanie grew up with her siblings Brian, Corey, and Rebecca in the Kent and Covington areas of Washington. From an early age, she showed a natural curiosity about how things worked, particularly computers and technology.

Stephanie possessed a brilliant technical mind and was largely self-taught in programming and technology. Independent and entrepreneurial, she pursued freelance projects and opportunities that interested her, eventually establishing her own technology company, Luceo Systems LLC, in 2024.

With an adventurous and independent spirit, Stephanie explored different places and connected with people from many walks of life. She eventually made her home in Seattle, where she developed friendships and connections within the LGBTQ+ community.

Stephanie's life was shaped by her intelligence, independence, personal journey, and the people she encountered along the way. She will be remembered by family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, Room 7 (Blue Building), 6532 Phinney Avenue N, Seattle, Washington.
