Ainsley Joe Nielsen

Ainsley Joe Nielsen/ Orion Blu, 13 passed away on October 15th 2026 in Las Vegas Nevada. 

Ainsley was born in Parker, Colorado to Kaliegh Couviller and Scott Nielsen September 18th 2013.

They attended 7th grade at Faiss middle school where they excelled in Art, Science and Mathematics. They were extremely creative and artistic. Something amazing was created no matter what medium was put in front of them. Ainsley was a lover of music, especially their favorite band Weezer. They were an uplifting soul who's light shined bright in so many people's lives. 

Ainsley is survived by their parents Kailegh and Scott and their other mother Nicole Propernick. 

Grandparents - Angela Brisevac, Leena Nielsen, Joseph and Sharon Propernick, Dorothy Plant, Todd and April Hickerson

Great Aunts - Darla and Dana

Aunts - Dannette, Rinda, Shawnee, Solice, Jamie, Charis and Krystle

Great Uncle - Fred C. Plant

Uncles - Sidney and Gregory

 And their many cousins - Halo, Remi, Joe, Frank, Henley, Dean, Shane and Illy. As well as so many more cousins and family members, too many to list.

They are proceeded in death by their grandfathers - Thomas Nielsen and Doyle Harrison.

Celebration of life services will be held Saturday October 24th, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Located at the Kraft-Sussman funeral home in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chaplain Arthur Ivy Jr will be officiating. 

The family wishes to extend thanks to the doctors, nurses and support staff in the pediatric ICU at Summerlin hospital. Carley and Kayla Case workers with CCPD/CCSD. Chaplain Arthur Ivy Jr. As well as anyone else that helped care for the family of Ainsley through this difficult time.
