Alejandra Cotoner

Alejandra Cotoner, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted wife, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 90. She is now reunited with the love of her life, her husband, Rudy, who preceded her in death.

Born on February 27, 1936, in the Philippines, Alejandra spent her life devoted to her family. Her life took her wherever the Navy carried her family, creating a lifetime of memories and roots in the Philippines and throughout the United States.

Alejandra had a heart that was made for caring for others. She was nurturing, gentle, patient, and endlessly forgiving. She loved without conditions and gave without expecting anything in return. She had a special way of making people feel safe, welcomed, and loved. And if you ever walked through her door, you could be sure you wouldn’t leave hungry. Feeding her family was one of the many ways she showed her love.

But what her family will remember most is the way she loved them. She loved deeply, quietly, and completely. Her love was present in the meals she prepared, the prayers she said, the forgiveness she gave, and in all the little things she did simply because she cared. She was the heart of her family, and her presence brought a sense of warmth and comfort that can never be replaced.

Alejandra was a devoted Catholic whose faith remained an important part of her life. She carried her faith with her through every chapter of her journey and now rests in the peace she believed in so deeply.

Above all, Alejandra loved deeply and unconditionally. Her family was the center of her world, and she gave of herself freely to those she loved. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love will remain a part of her family for generations to come.

She leaves behind her three siblings Belen, Lorenza, and Maximo; her three daughters, Merlinda, Melissa, and Myra; her five grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Megan, Isaah, and Matthew; and her three great-grandchildren, Kaelani, Kohen, and Xander. They will miss her more deeply than words can express, but will carry her love and memory with them always.

Her hands may no longer be here to care for us, but the love she placed in our hearts will remain forever.
