Angel G. Martinez, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, bother and member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe passed away August 31st, 2026 at the age of 71. Born February 14th, 1955, Angel lived a vibrant life defined by strength, creativity, and an unwavering devotion to his family.

An exceptionally strong and athletic man, Angel possessed a lifelong passion for the outdoors. Whether he was bicycling, going for a run, or spending an afternoon chopping wood, he thrived in motion and nature. Driven by a brilliant and curious mind, Angel was entirely self-taught as a mechanic, architect, and engineer. His resourcefulness and hands-on talent allowed him to build, design, and repair almost anything, earning him widespread admiration.

Above all his crafts, Angel’s family and community were paramount in everything he did. He was a natural jokester who brought immense light and joy into every room he entered—and when Angel laughed, he laughed the loudest!
