Carlos Antonio Larios, Jr.
Jul 6, 1982 — Jun 16, 2026
In Loving Memory of Carlos Antonio Larios, Jr.
Carlos Antonio Larios, Jr., beloved son, brother, partner, friend, musician, and DJ, passed away on June 16, 2026, in Mesa, Arizona, at the age of 43.
Carlos was born on July 6, 1982, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Alma Rosa Larios (Valenzuela) and Carlos Lopez Larios, Sr. He spent his life surrounded by family, friends, and music, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Professionally, Carlos worked in the service industry as a bartender and server, where his warm personality, sense of humor, and genuine ability to connect with people made him a favorite among coworkers and patrons alike. While he took pride in his work, his greatest passion was music. A gifted DJ and music enthusiast, Carlos devoted countless hours to listening, creating, and mixing music. What began as a passion became a creative outlet and source of income, allowing him to share his talent with others. Music was woven into every chapter of his life, and even on his final day, Carlos was doing what he loved most—creating and mixing music.
Carlos will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, his love of laughter, his loyalty to those he cared about, and the joy he brought to every gathering. Whether behind the turntables, spending time with loved ones, or simply sharing a conversation, he had a way of making people feel welcome and appreciated.
Carlos is survived by his loving mother, Alma Rosa Larios; his father, Carlos Lopez Larios, Sr.; his devoted companion, Heather; his sister, Selena; and numerous friends whose lives were enriched by his friendship, kindness, and unforgettable presence.
Carlos was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jose Antonio Vega and his cousin, Henry A. Soza.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Carlos's life and honor his memory at an all-night Wake beginning Friday, July 10, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Lucia Temple in Guadalupe, Arizona. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 8:00 a.m at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Guadalupe, Arizona. Burial will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery.
Though his time with us was far too short, Carlos's music, spirit, and memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His rhythm may have faded from this world, but the song of his life will never be forgotten.
