Donna Marie Smith

Donna Marie Smith, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother passed away on August 9, 2026 in Mesa, AZ after a brave fight with lung cancer. She was born on February 27, 1956 in Bayonne, NJ to Grace and Bernard Reinhold.

Donna graduated from Bayonne High School in 1973 and went on to a career as a transportation and billing specialist. She married Glenn Michael Smith on May 24, 1976 and together they raised two sons, Glenn Richard and Justin Michael Smith. In 2012, Donna and her husband relocated to Chandler, AZ to start their new chapter as devoted grandparents. Family meant the world to Donna, while her kindness, generosity, and humor knew no limits. Throughout her life, Donna was an avid supporter of charities that help the homeless and animals.

Donna is survived by her husband and sons, her granddaughters Madison, Kennedy, and McKinley, their mother Elizabeth Smith, sisters Susan Ruggirello and Nancy Reinhold, brothers Ronald and Thomas Reinhold, all of her cherished nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved cats, Baby and Sammy.
