Peter Daniel Silvas Jr.
Dec 31, 1981 — Jul 18, 2026
Peter Daniel Silvas Jr., affectionately known as "Triste Boy," entered eternal peace on July 18, 2026, at the age of 44. After a courageous battle with cancer, Peter received the ultimate victory—not defeat, but eternal healing in the presence of the Lord.
Peter was born on December 13, 1981, in Hobbs, New Mexico, to his parents, Peter Silvas Sr and Delia Silvas. After his little sister, Sonya, was born, his family moved back to Arizona. Though his path had many challenges, Peter refused to let his circumstances define him. Through perseverance, faith, and determination, he became the man he was destined to be.
Peter shared 15 beautiful years with his beloved wife, Viviana Silvas. Together they built a life filled with love and were blessed with three children: Delia, Emiliano, and Thalia Silvas, who brought so much love to his life. He also leaves behind his children with his wife Angela, who preceded him in death in 2010: Armando, Adin, Angelo, and Alonzo, whom he loved dearly and carried in his heart always. All his children brought so much joy to his life.
He is also survived by his beloved sister, Sonya Oliva, her husband, Alejandro, and their sons, Alejandro and Santiago; his brothers, Luis Marquez and Sixto Silvas; his sister, Lupita Marquez; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Peter was preceded in death by his Parents Peter Silvas Sr. and Delia Marquez Silvas; his maternal grandparents, Josephine and Genovevo Marquez; his paternal grandfather, Pedro Silvas; and his beloved nephew, Isaac Gonzalez.
Though Peter's earthly journey has come to an end, his legacy of Loyalty, strength, perseverance, faith, and unconditional love for his family will live on in all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and never forgotten.
