Patricia "Patsy" Ruth Lang

Patrica “Patsy” Ruth Lang February 25, 1926 - June 17, 2026 Patsy passed away at home peacefully in Ontario Oregon after a brief illness. She was dearly loved by the caregivers fortunate enough to take care of her over the last 15 years. She will be greatly missed as the joyful light that she was in their lives. We will miss her many wonderful life stories and her hilarious sense of humor and easy laughter.

 Patsy was born in Billings Montana, where she lived until she was four years old. She then moved to the Vale Oregon area with her parents Mabel and George Lang. Patsy was raised on the family farm with her 3 sisters Martha, Evelyn and Jean, that passed away in childhood. She lived and worked most of her life in Vale as a caregiver, first to her parents and as a caregiver at the local care facility, maintaining life long friendships with many in the Vale Community. 

Patsy was an active member in the community Methodist Church until she moved from Vale who loved eating out, cats, and animals in general. She was an avid reader. We had trouble keeping up with loading books on her tablet until a few months before her death.

 Patsy’s wish was to be cremated and interred with her sister Martha “Marcie”. Patsy always told us that her plan was to be buried with her sister because she used to kick her out of bed and now, she will never be able to kick her out again. There will be a graveside service at the Valley View Cemetery in Vale Oregon at 10 AM on September 2, 2026.
