Teresa Ellen Gough 78 of Ontario, OR passed away Thursday March 5th at St. Alphonsus Boise with her children and brother at bedside.
Terry was born July 1st, 1947 to Theron and Margaret Gough of Parma, ID. Terry graduated Parma Highschool in 1965 and went on to attend Emanuel School of Nursing in Portland, OR. After graduation she soon returned back to the Treasure Valley.
Terry worked many years in Ontario as a registered nurse. She began her career at Holy Rosary medical center in the emergency department. She worked many years at the Health Department, WIC and the Alcohol Recovery Center. She was very passionate about the infectious disease programs while at the health department. Terry retired from nursing in 2004 But never truly hung up her nursing cap. Finding ways to volunteer her nursing expertise in clinics or schools.
She met Samuel Henry Warrington during her time in Ontario working at the hospital and dated for several years. They married May 31st, 1980. They had two children together and were married for 41 years before Sam’s passing.
Terry enjoyed attending plays and concerts. She loved to travel when she was able, the beach was her favorite place to go. She kept in contact with her nursing classmates and looked forward to their yearly meet ups. Terry was an active member of Bethany Presbyterian Church for over 30 years and strong in her faith.
Terry was proceeded in death by her parents Theron and Margaret, her brother Theron and her husband Sam.
She is survived by her son Andy and his children Gage and Aria of Ontario. Daughter Meg (Kenny) of Burns and Brother Thom of Nampa.
Terry’s services will be held at Bethany Presbyterian Church Saturday April 4, 2026 at 2pm with a celebration of her life following at The Elks Lodge Ontario around 3pm.
