Carol Battaglia

Carol Grace Battaglia passed away on May 27, 2026. She was born on August 7, 1932, in Medford, Wisconsin to the late Robert and Mary Zimmerli. Carol was married to James L. Battaglia for over 60 years until his death in 2015.

Carol worked as an engineering technician and enjoyed traveling throughout the world. She was a talented artist who loved painting and woodcarving, having participated in many craft shows.

Along with her parents, husband James, she was preceded in death by a brother Fred in 2021.

Carol is survived by her son James S. Battaglia, granddaughter Barbara Solomon, great grandchildren; Travis and Brooke Solomon, three sisters; Lois Sterling, Mary Nell (Jack) Lockard, Mary Ann (Richard) Ramsden.

Funeral services will take place on Monday June 8, 2026 at 11am at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. Land O’ Lakes, Fl. 34639. The family will receive guests from 10am to the start of the service. Burial will be private at Florida National Cemetery.

Carol was loved and will be greatly missed.
