It is with great sadness we announce Danielle Lynne Lopes, 49, a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished friend and community member, passed away peacefully at home, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer, and has now moved on to Heaven.
Born on September 15, 1976, in Newton, New Jersey, Danielle lived her life to the fullest, she dedicated herself to motherhood and nurturing to the best of her ability. She brought a fierce dedication, passion, and boundless energy to every role she took on in life.
Danielle earned a Bachelor of Nursing from East Stroudsburg University, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida. She spent her career caring for growing families as a compassionate labor and delivery nurse. She later transitioned into the role of nurse educator to inspire and train the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Above all, Danielle was a dedicated and loving mother who selflessly sacrificed everything for her children Alex, and Ava who she loved more than anything. Her family was her greatest joy and her entire world. She loved traveling with them,
locally and abroad, creating lasting memories during sporting events, family trips, and other exciting excursions.
Known for being kind, compassionate, and deeply caring, Danielle also built a large network of very close friends who she adored and looked forward to spending time with. She enjoyed them thoroughly. She was heavily involved in the community, giving her time generously to organizations like the PTA with her close friends, always finding ways to lift up those around them.
Danielle had a strong interest in photography. She enjoyed capturing life’s moments, with a wide assortment of pictures and videos that she loved to share through her Instagram. She loved to exercise in any form, cardio, Pilates, weights, or just simply going for walks, as she refused to sit still.
Danielle was a devoted wife, loving, caring, thoughtful, and compassionate. She had a great sense of humor and was known to be a jokester, dancer and singer from time to time. She had endless energy always buzzing around the home, meticulously handling every family detail so that all others were taken care of. She was an excellent role model to her children, she led by example, instilling confidence and good values, setting them up for future success.
