Diane Therese Vento

Diane T. Vento, 79, passed away on June 25, 2026, at home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on March 11, 1947, in Queens, New York to Alexander and Louise Galdys.

Diane is survived by her sons Brian (& Teresa) and Michael (& Chasity) and her grandsons Christopher, Nicholas, Michael and Nathaniel. She was preceded in death by her husband John, her son John, her parents Alexander and Louise Galdys, and her brothers Phillip and John.

Diane dedicated her life wholeheartedly to her family, always placing their needs before her own and surrounding them with unwavering love, care, and support. She found her greatest joy in the time spent with her loved ones, creating a home filled with laughter, comfort, and lasting memories. Her presence was a steady source of strength, and her love will continue to guide and inspire those she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest with her husband John, of 52 years, on July 7th at 1:30pm at the Sarasota National Cemetery
