Gloria Whitehurst

Gloria Ann Olsen Bishoff Whitehurst, 100, of Land ‘O Lakes, Florida (formerly Riverview and Tampa, Florida, originally from Newark, NJ. She passed away on July 24,2026. Gloria was a Christian and put her eternal faith in the Lord. She enjoyed sewing, painting, gardening, reading, and local sport teams. She also loved the companionship of her faithful dogs and cat over the years. Gloria was preceded in death by her former husband of 25 years, Frank James Bishoff (2011), husband of 33 years, Gilbert Whitehurst (2009), son Gary Joseph Bishoff (2016), grandchildren Jennifer Lynn Colhouer (1988), Megan Elizabeth Ohnmacht (2007) and Zachary Ryan Bishoff (2021), great grandson, Jeremy Colhouer Jr. (2011). Gloria is survived by five children, Frank James Bishoff, Cheryl Ann (Thomas) Colhouer, Nancy Lee (Lloyd) Messer, Duane Brian (Terry) Bishoff, Mark Alan (Suzy) Bishoff, 7 grandchildren, Jeremy Colhouer, Krystal Colhouer, Amy Messer, Casey (Michelle) Messer, Matthew (Nicole) Bishoff, Brandon (Sarah) Bishoff, Dylan Bishoff, 13 great grandchildren, Savannah Colhouer, Giannah Colhouer, Brittny (James) Conley, Jonathan Colhouer, Cole Colhouer, Clint Colhouer, Chase Messer, Reese Messer, Camryn Messer, Brady Bishoff, Cole Bishoff, Tucker Bishoff, Cooper Bishoff and 2 great-great grandchildren Sylus Conley and Abigail Conley. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O' Lakes Blvd. at 11am. The family will receive guests from 10am to the start of the service. Following funeral services, Gloria will be laid to rest at Hopewell Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Florida Gulf Coast Paralyzed Veterans Association or Hospice.
