Margaret Helen Giordano

Margaret ‘Marge’ Helen Giordano, of Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026 at the age of 86, surrounded by her family. Born in Astoria, New York, in 1940 to William Vianden and Elizabeth Bertram, Marge was one of eight children, growing up in a bustling household that taught her the enduring values of faith, family, and a warmly set table.

She married the love of her life, Rosario J. ‘Sal’ Giordano, and together they built a beautiful life, first raising their family in Jackson Heights, NY, before relocating to Port Richey, FL, in 1980 to enjoy their golden years by the Gulf.

A dedicated parishioner of Saint James Catholic Church, Marge was an active member of The Dames of Saint James, a charitable group of women who selflessly offered their time and talents to benefit others. A truly gifted cook and baker, she showed her love through her food—no one ever left her home hungry. Her greatest joy was found in the quiet, cherished evenings spent watching the sun sink over the water with her beloved Sal by her side.

Marge is preceded in death by her parents; her cherished husband, Rosario; and six of her dear siblings.

She leaves behind her loving sister, Elizabeth ‘Bette’ Kuczek; her devoted son, Joseph (Leah); her adored grandchildren, Mia and Dominic; and countless extended family members and friends across the country who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Though she is no longer with us, Marge’s legacy of compassion, homemade feasts, and sunset reflections will continue to warm the lives of all who were blessed to know her.

A Visitation is scheduled on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 4:00pm, with the service for the Celebration or Marge's Life starting at 5:00pm at Loyless Funeral Homes, 5310 Land O' Lakes Boulevard, Land O' Lakes, Florida 34639.
