Paul Michael Kimler, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida, formerly of Hamden, Connecticut, passed away on November 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family while visiting beloved relatives in Connecticut. He is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 50 years, Maureen Kimler; loving daughters, Sara Ashby and Denise Stefan; and cherished grandchildren, Connor Stefan, Addison Stefan, Miles Ashby, and Chase Ashby.Paul proudly served as a United States Army veteran in Vietnam, an experience that deeply influenced his strength, loyalty, and perspective. Known for his sharp wit and entertaining sarcasm, he brought laughter and lightness to every gathering.A passionate sports fan, Paul cheered for the New York Giants and Tampa Bay Lightning and never missed a game. He was an excellent cook who loved preparing meals for family and friends, and a regular on the golf course, where his competitive streak and good humor made him a favorite companion. Above all, he treasured watching his grandchildren grow, never missing a milestone or celebration.Paul will be remembered as a devoted husband, proud father, and loving grandfather, whose kindness, stories, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.A memorial will be held at Loyless Funeral Home, 5310 Land O’ Lakes Blvd., Land O’ Lakes, Florida, on November 18, 2025, starting at 10:30am.
