Ruth Ann Sale

Ruth Ann Sale, born to Ralph and Doris Marshall in Greenville, Florida, passed away peacefully in Tampa on September 14th at the age of 83 with her loving daughter and son by her side. Ann was a woman of deep Christian faith. As a mother, she was boundless in her love and devotion. Throughout her life, she brought a hardworking and adaptable spirit to many roles, working as a baker’s assistant, daycare teacher, bank teller, insurance office assistant, and dedicated homemaker. She loved riding horses, traveling, singing, decorating, and creating floral arrangements. Her warm and gentle heart touched everyone who knew her.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Sale (d. 2003), her brother, Ralph, and her granddaughter, Alyssa. Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Terri; her son, Stephen, and his wife, Andrea; her grandsons, Kameron and Dustin; her dearest sister, Yvonne, and husband, Don; her brother, David, and wife, Bonni; her sister-in-law, Kathy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the nurses and staff at Northdale Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association .

A Graveside service will take place on Friday, August 21, 2026; 10am at Lutz Cemetery.
