Agnes A. Flood

Agnes A. Flood (nee Covely), 89, of Deptford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home with loved ones with her on Thursday, September 3, 2026.

Legacy

Agnes loved volunteering at the Church of Incarnation Pantry. She was well known for her Easter egg hunt. Made wonderful memories with her grandchildren with her Christmas cookie bake. She will be missed immensely.

Family

She was the loving and caring wife of the late Michael F. Flood, Jr. Devoted mother of Mr. Michael Flood III (Patty), David Flood (Michele), late Thomas Flood, Joseph Flood (Christine), and Jeffrey Flood (Tammy). Adored grandmother Season (Phil), Michael IV (Kate), Jeffrey (Steve), William (Brittany), Kelsea (Brian), Carly, Shane, Dan (Nicole), Danielle (Alex), Gabbi (Conner), and late Andrew. Treasured great grandmother of Mikenzie (Peyton), Harper, Aubrey, Ryker, Dylan, Layton, Briar, Kade, and Palmer. Precious great great grandmother of Rory. Dear sister of Robert Covely (Marie) and Marie Callaghan. Predeceased by her parents Thelma and George Covely and siblings George (Dot), Thelma (Wayne), Charles (Estelle), Jack Callaghan, Dorothy, and Mary. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, September 11th, from 9:30AM to 10:45AM in Church of the Incarnation 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051. Funeral Mass at 11:00AM. Interment at a later date at Wenonah Cemetery, Mantua, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital of Philadelphia www.shrinerschildrens.org or Nemours DuPont Pediatric www.nemours.org.
