John "Jack" Calhoun, Jr.

John “Jack” Calhoun, Jr. passed on Monday, Oct. 19, 2026.

Beloved son of John Sr. and Pauline (nee Jaskel) Calhoun. He is survived by his wife Anna Marie (nee Ciavardone), his three sons John III, Jeffrey, Christopher, his brother Robert (Dori), his granddaughter Brittany and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jack was a proud North Catholic Grad class of 1964. He was a restaurateur and owned many restaurants throughout his career including The Rascal’s Roost, Regency Caters, and Nick’s Roast Beef Old City. Jack loved his family and many friends; he also enjoyed fishing on his boat and going to Phillies games.

Jack will be missed by family and friends. As per his wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life at Nick’s Roast Beef on Monday, November 30th from 1:00PM to 5:00PM 16 South 2nd Street Philadelphia PA.
