John James Westphal, 82, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026.

Legacy

John "Jack" was a loving, caring, and hardworking husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved to be around his family, especially his grandchildren. A proud member of the United States Marine Corps serving during the Vietnam War. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed going to the casinos, traveling with his family and friends, and listening to all the Philadelphia sports teams on the radio. He was a Production and Pricing Manager at the Packard Press in Philadelphia, PA for over 30 Years.

Family

He is the beloved husband of Claire L. Westphal (nee Yatzus); devoted father of Ryan Morrison-Westphal (Laura) and Julie Ciocco (Mike). Treasured grandfather of Dominic and Emily Ciocco. Dear brother of Carol, Judy, Mary, and Anne. Predeceased by his parents Anne and Elmer Westphal and brother Michael. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, July 7th from 9:00AM to 10:30AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home (Washington Twp. Location), 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Funeral Mass at 11:30AM in Mary Mother of Mercy Parish at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 500 Greentree Road Glassboro, New Jersey 08028. Interment at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, New Jersey.  In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your favorite charity in John's honor.
