Kathryn Agnes Kravitz

Kathryn Agnes Kravitz was born on September 15, 1950, in Philadelphia and died on July 30, 2026 while her son, Bobby Deren, talked her through her final breaths. She is also survived by her daughter, Cindy Malmros, and her husband, Kent Malmros.

Kathy was a loving grandmother to Sophia Deren, Mason Deren, Kendall Malmros and Hayden Malmros.

She was a beloved sister to Mary Theresa Mansfield, Kenny Donegan and Tommy Donegan.

Kathy was a creative soul who began designing and making her own clothes as a teenager, showing a love of fashion. Her creativity continued to shine through as a dance teacher to children of all ages in Philadelphia. She became an Aerobics instructor and later won state fitness and aerobics championships in her mid-to-late thirties.

Kathy worked as a massage therapist and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Nursing at the age of 58. She worked as a registered nurse, holding supervisory positions beyond her 74th birthday.

Throughout all her accomplishments, Kathy’s biggest triumph was the way she saw the world and treated all those she encountered. There was a genuine appreciation and thoughtfulness in all her actions. She will be dearly missed and remains a prime example of what we should all aspire to be.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday, August 12th from 10:00AM to 11:30AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - (Washington Township Location), 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, New Jersey. Funeral Service at 11:30AM. Interment will be private.
