Linda Theresa Raffa

Linda Theresa Raffa, of Sewell, NJ, passed away at home on October 27, 2026. She was 77 years old.

Linda had a heart of gold and a love for her family and friends that knew no bounds. Her home was always open, welcoming everyone in and creating a space where countless memories were made. Her home was truly the heart and hub of the family, the center of celebrations, laughter, and togetherness.

Linda believed that every occasion was worth celebrating. She never let a special day pass without making it memorable, whether it was a birthday, a holiday, or simply an opportunity to gather the people she loved. She had a special gift for bringing people together and making everyone feel loved and included.

Some of Linda’s happiest memories were made during family vacations and traditions. Every other year or so, she would make a trip to Disney, creating wonderful memories along the way. Summers were often spent in Ocean City, New Jersey, a place filled with special moments and treasured family traditions.

Linda enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, including watching the Hallmark Channel and QVC, shopping, and, perhaps just as much, taking others shopping with her. Many fond memories were made during trips to Vera Bradley and Gertrude Hawk, where shopping was about more than finding something special—it was another opportunity to spend time together and make memories.

Family was at the center of Linda’s life, and that family connection extended to Pop’s Water Ice, where Linda and her family were part of the Pop’s Water Ice family for 40 years. Established in 1932, Pop’s carried a rich family history. In the 1980s, Linda, her brother, and cousins helped keep the shop going, continuing a tradition that connected generations and became an important part of the family’s story.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, James “Jim” O’Riordan; her beloved brother, Joseph Raffa; cherished nephews, whom she loved as her own sons, Joseph John and Nicholas Louis and great-nephew, Joseph Dolan; dear daughters, Tammy and Debbie; treasured grandchildren, Brooklyn, Gabriel, Jayden, Christian, Addison and Dani; and adored great-granddaughter, Haven. Linda is also survived by countless extended family members and dear friends she calls, family.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 8:00 am until 10:00 am at McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Sewell.

Interment will be held privately for her immediate family.
