In Loving Memory of Ruth Dumisani Zimuto
July 21, 1960 ~ August 10, 2026
It is with profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Ruth Dumisani Zimuto, who entered into eternal rest on August 10, 2026, at the age of 66.
Born on July 21, 1960, to Herbert and Lucy Zimuto, Ruth was a God-fearing woman who faithfully served the Lord throughout her life. Her unwavering faith guided her action, shaped her character, and provided strength and comfort to all who knew her.
Ruth was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, cherished sister, aunt and friend. Family was the center of her world, and she poured endless love into the lives of those closest to her. She found her greatest joy in her children and grandchildren, whom she adored deeply and supported wholeheartedly.
Ruth was full of life and brought joy wherever she went. She loved to laugh and celebrate life’s special moments and enjoyed listening to audio books and watching movies. She also loved days spent at the water park with her family. Her warm personality made it easy for her to meet new people and form lasting friendships. She had a passion for travel and treasured the opportunity to experience new places, cultures, and adventures. Her vibrant spirit, welcoming smile and infectious laughter left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Raymond Julian Zimuto and Stembile Tarisayi Magoge & husband Elvis Rambanapasi. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Nathan Thabo Zimuto, Hope Tanaka Zimuto, Clayton Magoge, and Ellis Rambanapasi.
Ruth is survived by her siblings, Thenjiwe Miriam Zimuto, Andrew Zimuto and his wife Francisca Tsuro Zimuto and is predeceased by brother Thabani Zimuto and will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: James Michiemo, Mathew Zimuto, Nicole Zimuto and Shamylah Zimuto.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we rejoice in the blessing of her life and take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace with her Heavenly Father. Her legacy of faith, love, kindness, and family devotion will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts, guiding and inspiring us through the example of a life lived with purpose, compassion and unwavering faith.
Ruth was a true matriarch and was deeply connected not only to her immediate family, but also her extended family, including those in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Family and friends are invited for Ruth’s visitation at McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell (WTP), NJ 08080, on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 12 PM to 1 PM. Funeral service will begin at 1 PM and end at 3 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place privately for immediate family.
Forever loved, forever remembered, forever missed.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” ~ 2 Timothy 4:7
