Theresa K. Sindoni

March 25, 1948 — May 11, 2026

Theresa K. Sindoni (nee Ruggieri), of Washington Township, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 11th, 2026.

Theresa, known as Terry to family and friends, was born to Eugene Ruggieri and Angela Ruggieri (nee Colozzi) on March 25th, 1948 in south Philadelphia, the oldest of 4 children. She attended St. Monica grade school and St. Maria Goretti high school.

At 22 years of age she married Albert Sindoni and moved to New Jersey where she remained married to him for 56 years until her death. They originally moved to Marlton NJ, then to Edgewater Park and finally to Washington Township in 1976. Together they had one son, Albert Jr. In Washington Township she worked for local government first as a crossing guard and then in the Public Works department, eventually retiring after many years of service.

Throughout life she remained close to her two sisters, Toni and Angel and her brother George and their spouses. She went on in life to gather lifelong friends and treat them like family. She was known to her friend’s children as Aunt Terry and to their children’s children as Grandmom Terry. Her favorite pastime was inviting friends and family to her house where she cooked way more than she should have. One of the fixtures of her life was the New Years Day BBQ which she hosted with her husband for 37 years. She always had a ready smile and laugh and loved being around people. She was truly loved by all who met her.

Her wishes in life were to be remembered after her passing for all the fun and food and laughter that she shared with everyone around her. She gave love from a bottomless well and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years Albert, her son Albert Jr, her sister Toni and her husband Anthony, her sister Angel, and her brother George and his wife Jean.
