Albert "Schaeffey" Hoffman

Albert "Schaeffey" Hoffman, 82, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Legacy

He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved to be around his family and doing everything for Dottie, the love of his life. He was a proud member of the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He was a police officer with the West Deptford Police Department.  He also was a superintendent for the electrical with American Dredge and Great Lakes Dredge Schaeffey enjoyed dancing, the casinos, traveling with Dottie, and cruises.

Family

He is the beloved husband of 62 wonderful years to Dottie Hoffman (nee Pawelek). Devoted father of Cathy (Stacy) Laurie and Al (Shenna) Hoffman. Adored grandfather of Kim and the late Skyler. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Albert Hoffman and sibling Albert. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, September 16th from 12:00PM to 1:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Woodbury Location, 34 Hunter Street Woodbury, NJ 08096. Funeral Service at 1:00PM followed by Navy Honors. Interment will be private.
