Brenda Joy Lisa
Feb 13, 1953 — Oct 11, 2026
Brenda Joy Lisa of Woodbury NJ passed away suddenly and peacefully at Cooper Medical Center, Camden NJ, surrounded by family and friends on October 11, 2026. Brenda was born February 13,1953 in Philadelphia, PA. She grew up in Oak Valley, NJ and graduated from Deptford, HS in 1971. Brenda attended Gloucester County Community College and meet her beloved husband Charlie in 1972. They married November 9, 1974, and they were inseparable.
Brenda worked for Penn Personnel Consultants, Inc which was formed in 1987 by Charlie and his former partner John Giacobbe. She handled payroll, bookkeeping and was the “CFO” until 2014 when the company was sold, and they both retired. They enjoyed traveling in their motorhome, towing her Smart Car, “Doodle” exploring the country and Canada. Always a new adventure on the road. Brenda loved to cook and entertain family and friends. She was an animal lover, her “fur babies “cats & dogs were her joy. Brenda was an amazing knitter and needle pointer. She loved to read and collect books. She also had an amazing attention to detail and design. She had a big personality, warm and loving with a great sense of humor. One of her greatest pleasures was the little log cabin in Upstate NY on the Salmon River; it was her “happy place”.
She is predeceased by her parents Gorden and Gloria Bell and will be missed by many family and friends, too many to name.
