Claire Adrian Robbins

ROBBINS, Claire Adrian (Gindville), age 71 of Gloucester City NJ, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2026 due to illness. She preferred to be known as “Adrian” and while originally from West Deptford, she had also lived many years in Elkton, MD before returning to South Jersey years ago. Adrian will always be remembered as a kind soul who genuinely loved life. She had remarkable talent whether it be writing lyrics to songs and poems, playing guitar, or singing and dancing. She lived a simple life and enjoyed going to yard-sales and farmer’s markets. She loved to socialize and enjoyed celebrations, taking pictures, and especially karaoke! While she may not have had much to offer, she was good at lending an ear or offering to help in any way that she could. She will be remembered most for her beautiful smile, melodic voice, giddy laugh, chatty conversations, and overall infectious happiness.

Adrian is preceded in death by her mother, Claire Benack (Slimbach); father Edward Gindville; and brother Wayne Gindville.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, and (Al) her loving companion of eight years.

A private viewing will be held for the immediate family. All who loved her are encouraged to celebrate and honor her life in their own way.

The family wishes to thank the McGuinness Funeral Home in Woodbury/Washington Township, NJ for their compassion and assistance during this difficult time.
