David L. Misilewich, of National Park, NJ, born and raised in Huntington NY, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, he was 78 years old.

David was a Printer by trade and started his career at 17 years old. He retired from Deluxe in Thorofare, NJ after 50 years of dedication. David was always fixing something, and mostly everything! He loved tinkering around with things to either keep busy or to help someone fix something. He collected many things, especially tools. He found woodworking very relaxing and enjoyed making a variety of things. His barn was his favorite place.

Above all, David was an amazing husband, also a loving father and grandfather. He liked and was liked, by everyone he came across. He never met a stranger. He was just that kind of sincere, honest and trustworthy man you would want to befriend. His way of kindness roots from his upbringing at home and his devout devotion to God. He started sharing his love of God with everyone. David was an ordained Franciscan, who started following that way of living and thinking. The Franciscan belief emphasizes on simplicity, humility, and a profound reverence for all of creation.

Loving husband of 58 years to Phyllis (nee LeRoux) Misilewich, beloved father of David Misilewich & wife Lorraine, Jennifer Misilewich, widow of Joseph, Catherine Misilewich and Charlene Tull & husband Brandon. Dear brother of Victor and Martha (Norman) Romahn. Best Grampy of Billy, Nick, Alyssa, Richie, Justin, Kevin, & Victoria. David was loved by many nieces and nephews.

Family & friends are invited to David's viewing at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096 on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 4-6 P.M., and again on Monday, June 1, 2026 from 9 AM to 10 AM.
