Diana M. Bennett

Diana M. Bennett (nee Lattanzio) of Mickleton, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born July 15, 1938, in Philadelphia, PA. Diana was a 1956 graduate of J.W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School.

Diana married the late Gary Bennett on February 7, 1959. They enjoyed many happy years of marriage living in Swarthmore, PA and Mickleton, NJ while spending their summer months at the beach in Wildwood Crest, NJ.

Diana was a warm, kind, and caring person with an infectious smile. She loved to crochet and knit which was apparent by the annual Christmas scarves, socks, mittens, and blankets she so joyfully gifted to family and friends. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and creating incredible meals for her family and anyone who would visit.

What Diana loved the most was spending time with her family, creating memories that they will forever cherish. She will be greatly missed by her two sons, Robert (LouAnn) Bennett and David (Karen Westcott) Bennett; her five grandchildren, Daniel (Sarah) Bennett, David (Tiara) Bennett, Gary Bennett II, Kyle Bennett, and Geneva States; her son-in-law, Brian States; brother,Raymond (Marge) Lattanzio; sister-in-law, Denise Lattanzio; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Diana is predeceased by her loving husband Gary Bennett; her daughter,Barbara Ann States; parents, Josephine and Aldo Lattanzio; sister, Rita D’Occhio; and brother, Louis Lattanzio.

Special gratitude to caregivers, Wendy Burke, Peggy Hollifield, Michele Parker, Anna Saunders, and Geneva States who provided the utmost loving care and comfort to Diana in her later years.
